All About Library Workshops [Revised: 10/19/2011]

Are you required to attend a library workshop for one of your courses this semester? If so, then you will soon be visiting us at the Millsaps-Wilson Library.

Below are Frequently Asked Questions [FAQs] about these workshops:


How do I sign up?

You have several options to sign up for a workshop:

- Ask a librarian at the front desk
- E-mail us at librarian@millsaps.edu
- Call us at x1073 or 601-974-1073

Where are the workshops held?

The Library Workshops are held in the Millsaps Room, which can be found on the top floor of the library on the east side. If you are unsure where to find this room, you can always ask at the front desk

When do the workshops meet?

The workshops meet Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week of the Fall semester, except for weeks when there is a holiday. Each workshop meets for approximately 30 minutes.  [Revised:  10/19]

What will I learn?

The workshops are designed to give new Millsaps students an introduction to the library and library resources. The two sessions currently offered are: "Finding Books at Millsaps and Beyond" and "Finding Scholarly Journal Articles."   [Revised:  10/19]
