If you have, then you have seen LC call numbers displayed in your results list.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;You&amp;nbsp;may be&amp;nbsp;asking yourself, “what is a LC call number”?&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;LC is short for Library of Congress, and it is the type of classification system used by most academic libraries.&amp;nbsp; Call numbers help you locate a book.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;Most people are more familiar with the Dewey Decimal classification system, as this is the type of classification used in most public libraries.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; We hope that you find these databases useful, and if you have any questions please let us know.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;Education Research Complete – EBSCO&lt;/span&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:black; mso-bidi-font-style:italic"&gt;Students in education, psychology, social work, and biology, just to name a few, can find full text journal articles through this EBSCO database.&lt;span&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;Education Research Complete&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:black"&gt; provides indexing and abstracts for more than 2,100 journals, as well as full text for more than 1,200 journals, and includes full text for nearly 500 books and monographs.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;Westlaw Campus Research&lt;/span&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: black; font-style: normal; "&gt;Westlaw Campus&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span style="mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:black"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: black; font-style: normal; "&gt;Research&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:black"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;covers thousands of publications, most of which are available in full text.  It is especially useful for legal research, as well as for current news coverage and business.&lt;span&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;Many newspapers from major cities are available through this database, and regional newspapers include the &lt;i&gt;Atlanta Journal-Constitution&lt;/i&gt;, the &lt;i&gt;New Orleans Times-Picayune&lt;/i&gt;, and the &lt;i&gt;Memphis Commercial Appeal&lt;/i&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;How to Access Library Databases:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;From the library’s homepage&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;[&lt;/b&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.millsaps.edu/library.php"&gt;http://www.millsaps.edu/library.php&lt;/a&gt;]&lt;b&gt;:&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;On the library’s homepage, find the second (middle) blue shaded box in the center of the screen.
